Volunteer link governor for a local primary school. Responsible for overseeing the curriculum and early years development. I sit on the Learning and Assessment committee.

Developing inclusive reading opportunities by creating a diverse judging panel to receive and vote on the Young Persons book prize winner.
Providing differentiated home learning projects which could be completed with limited resources and independently. These projects were downloaded by over 100 schools.
Participated with the NHM teacher advisory board, participating in trials of their new workshops, resources and website, including attending feedback meetings.
While training to be a teacher, I successfully applied to complete some of my training in Hong Kong as part of an Alternative Learning Experience module. Here, I not only taught English but also independently led the pupils in joining a Global Footprints initiative
While at university, I participated in numerous STEM outreach events including becoming a STEM ambassador for primary schools.
Mentoring trainee teachers from Roehampton and St.Mary's university while they were on their teaching placements.
Actively engaging pupils in real activism. At the end of a project about local deforestation, pupils letters to the MP were read aloud in the House of Commons. This lead them to receive a response not only from the MP but also the Environment Secretary.
